Two April 2026 PS Plus Free Games Have Already Leaked, Here’s What to Expect

Some subscribers may feel like the April 2026 PS Plus free games are running late, but they’re not. Sony is simply following its usual schedule to the letter, which occasionally creates the illusion of a delay. The announcement always lands on the Wednesday before the first Tuesday of the month, and this time around, the calendar just doesn’t cooperate with the first week. In just two days, PlayStation will officially unveil the three free games headed to all PS Plus members in April 2026, but a second title has already slipped out ahead of time.

Two of the April 2026 PS Plus free games have leaked

Reliable dataminer BillBil-Kun is back in full swing, resuming his familiar habit of getting ahead of Sony’s plans for PlayStation Plus members. The first leak landed last week: Lords of the Fallen. A dark fantasy Soulslike heavily inspired by FromSoftware’s work, it earned a strong reputation when it launched in 2023, enough to greenlight a sequel arriving later this year. For anyone yet to try it, PS Plus offers the perfect opportunity to catch up before diving into the second chapter. Now a second title has joined it, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream.

This one hasn’t exactly set the world on fire. The action-RPG, based on the beloved anime and light novel franchise, drops players back into a virtual world where they must battle through their character’s past memories alongside a roster of 21 series heroes, or with other players in multiplayer. On paper, the concept has appeal. In practice, the game struggled to win over its audience, weighed down by shallow gameplay, excessive grinding, and a story that doesn’t leave much of an impression. Die-hard Sword Art Online fans may find enough to enjoy, but it’s hard to call this one a headline for PS Plus April 2026.

Both titles will be officially confirmed this Wednesday, with all three PS Plus free games for April 2026 going live on April 7, 2026. In the meantime, you still have a few days left to claim your March offerings before they’re gone, that is to say PGA Tour 2K25, Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online.
